Copyright and usage rights

All photographs I create remain my property. When you book a session, you receive a license to use the delivered images for the agreed purpose — your website, Google Business Profile, and social media. Ownership of the original files stays with me.

If you need extended licensing for print publication, advertising, or commercial resale, we discuss that before the shoot.

Bookings and payment

A deposit is required to hold your date. The remaining balance is due before or on the day of the shoot. Specific payment terms are confirmed in writing before we book.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give me as much notice as possible. Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to a rescheduled date within 90 days.

Photo delivery

Edited photos are delivered digitally to a private gallery link for download. Delivery timing is confirmed at booking. I retain the right to use images in my portfolio and on this site unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Model and property releases

If your shoot includes recognizable people or private property, obtaining the necessary releases is your responsibility. I'm happy to provide a template if you need one.

What I bring

I bring my camera, lenses, and everything needed to photograph your space. My work is natural light only. If your space has particular lighting conditions worth discussing, let's talk before we book.

Limitation of liability

In the unlikely event of equipment failure or circumstances beyond my control, my liability is limited to a refund of fees paid. I am not liable for lost business or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Sidler Photography is a Maryland LLC.
