Real photos for small businesses worth talking about.
The kind of photography that helps people find you, understand you, and actually want to show up.
Natural light. Minimal editing. Nothing staged. I work with small, physical businesses that have a real story, and I photograph them the way they actually are. The worn counter. The handwritten specials board. The thing on the shelf that makes regulars smile every time.
Let's talk about your businessReal spaces. Real light. Nothing rearranged before I pressed the shutter.
The imperfections are usually the best part.
I shoot with natural light and edit as little as possible. I keep the things most photographers remove, because those details are usually what make a place feel real to the people who love it.
When someone looks at a photo of your business, I want them to feel like they've already been there. Like they already know they'd love it. That's the goal every single time.
I don't do staged scenes, artificial lighting, or photos that look like they belong in a magazine you've never read. I photograph what you've actually built.
You might be exactly who I'm thinking of.
You have been open for years. You have regulars. You care deeply about what you do and who you do it for.
But online, you're almost invisible. Your Google listing has one blurry photo from years ago. Your website hasn't been touched since someone built it as a favor. And you're too busy actually running your business to figure out how to fix it.
That's exactly who I work with. Restaurants, diners, cafes, shops, markets, studios, and the kinds of places that feel like a gift to whatever street they're on. Businesses with a story that deserves to be told. Businesses I'd personally recommend.
Most small businesses treat their online presence the way people treat going to the doctor. They know they should do something. They keep meaning to. And then one day it feels too late to bother. It doesn't have to go that way. A few real, honest photos uploaded to your Google listing today can change what people find tomorrow.
Questions people usually have.
Do you travel?
Yes. I travel regularly by train along the Amtrak corridor, including DC, Philadelphia, Wilmington, Williamsburg, and beyond. If you're somewhere I can get to by train, let's talk.
My space is not perfect. Is that okay?
That's kind of the whole point. I'm not here to make your business look like something it isn't. I'm here to make it look exactly like itself, just well lit and well seen. The worn-in corners and the quirky details are what I'm after.
What does your editing process look like?
Minimal. I adjust light and color when needed and that's mostly it. I don't remove things, I don't whiten or smooth, and I don't use AI to alter images. The goal is honest photography, not a magazine cover.
Can I use the photos on Google Maps?
Absolutely. That's usually the first place I'd suggest uploading them. I can walk you through the process if you need help.
How many photos do I get?
This depends on the scope of the shoot. We talk through that before we book so there are no surprises.
What if I need a website too?
Photography and web design bundle naturally together. A lot of my clients work with me on the full picture, and there are real advantages to having one person handle everything. Check out Sidler Studios if you need both.
How do I know if we're a good fit?
Reach out and we'll have a quick conversation. I work with businesses I believe in and would personally recommend. If we're aligned, we'll both know pretty quickly.

The more you bundle, the more you save. One person, the whole picture.

A lot of clients find that having one person handle photos, web design, and SEO makes everything easier. It's how I first started offering commercial photography, bundled into a larger website project so clients had everything they needed in one place.
